I drew these a while ago and promptly forgot that I did so. *laugh* Here, have some Kurogane nose-booping.

Six months in Yama, and Fai didn’t advance very far in his linguistics studies. This was partly due to Kurogane being a terrible, too-distracting and -distractable teacher and partly due to the fact that while Fai’s memory is good, the overabundance of homonyms played havoc with his comprehension.

1: “Kumo” and “kumo”.

2: “Hana” and “hana”.

3. [Japanese is difficult…] (“Kami”, “kami”, “hashi”, “hashi”.) *mutter*

[Note] “Kumo” can mean cloud or spider. “Hana” can mean nose or flower. “Kami” can mean paper, hair or god. “Hashi” can mean bridge or chopstick.

FINALLY FINISHED MY GOD THIS TOOK FOREVER AND A YEAR TO FINISH! For those of you that don’t know this picture ties in with my fic The Known Stranger which is a kurofay fic yes but the twist is Sora. Sora is the one sitting on that rock. Now I don’t care about spoilers anymore so,yes Sora is Kurogane’s and Fay’s son whose come barging in from the future to save Fay! In this particular picture Sora’s sitting alone outside in the dead of the night and uses his magic to conjur images of Kurogane and Fay to remind himself of why he’s here in the past. He also conjurs a little spirit bird to help keep him company something his father taught him how to do. Why is he alone? No one of the past Nihon knows who he is nor do they trust him,poor thing.The brown mass is supposed to be a tree XD I need to work on my backgrounds. Sora’s sword is named “Celes” after Fay’s long gone home world. The necklace Sora wears around his neck resembles Fay’s old staff and was given to him by Fuuma. Before you’re wondering Sora’s natural hair color isn’t red,it’s blonde,he just did it for a reason. Read the fic to find out more!
